The Internet is abuzz with news of a speed-reading application, released by Spritz last week, which allows readers to significantly cut down the time they spend reading. With new and rapidly improving technologies being constantly introduced to the public, the question has become when the next ground-breaking application will be released, rather than if these technologies can actually be developed.
Spritz, a Boston-based software developer that focuses on the integration of text streaming technology into modern communication, has been working in “Stealth Mode” for the past three years perfecting their reading technology. Spritz recently announced they would be releasing their speed-reading application on Samsung’s new line of wearable technology.

Prince took to the stage to debut his new collaboration with 3RDEYEGIRL, “FUNKROLL”. The singer was joined on stage with musical group The New Power Generation. The star also performed the 1985 B-Side, “She’s Always in My Hair,” and debuted another track, “Mutiny.”
William Kyle Carpenter, a 24-year-old Marine Corps veteran, will be presented later this year with the nation’s highest valor award, a Medal of Honor. Cpl Carpenter was serving overseas when, on November 21st, 2010, he was on a rooftop in Afghanistan’s province of Helmand where a grenade came onto the roof to endanger both him and his fellow Marine, Lance Cpl Nicholas Eufrazio. Cpl Carpenter then covered the grenade to protect his friend from the blast and in turn saved both of their lives.
