The as-yet untitled Glee Season Four Finale’ Episode, 04x22, is shrouded in mystery, promising many “cliffhangers,” relationship struggles, as well as being completely rewritten to exclude Cory Monteith, whom has voluntarily entered rehab for “substance abuse” and will not be filming for at least the rest of the season. Well, gleeks, as promised, we have an EXCLUSIVE SONG SPOILER, and it just so happens to come from this very episode!
The song is called “Clarity,” and isthe title track from the debut studio album by German electronic dance music producer, Zedd. The album version features “Foxes,” and was released on February 12, 2013. The song gained popularity and publicity following a performance on the David Letterman Show in January.
The lyrics are deep, and could mean so many things. I predict that it will be used as the theme song to Klaine rekindling their relationship, which would make for the happiest fandom, ever. I also especially like this song choice, as it just feels different than what Glee usually covers. Below is the video for the song, as well as the lyrics. What do YOU think? Have the Glee writers gotten it right this time, or do you think it’s a bust? Also, BE SURE to stay-tuned to PopWrapped, as we will be releasing EXCLUSIVE DETAILS from next weeks episode, “Sweet Dreams,” coming TOMORROW!
Until tomorrow, “Sweet Dreams” to all of our readers who stayed up tonight waiting on this post!
I dive into frozen waves where the past comes back to life Fight fear for the selfish pain, it was worth it every time Hold still right before we crash ‘cause we both know how this ends A clock ticks ‘til it breaks your glass and I drown in you again
(Chorus) 'Cause you are the piece of me I wish I didn't need Chasing relentlessly, still fight and I don’t know why If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy? If our love’s insanity, why are you my clarity?
(Bridge) If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy? If our love’s insanity, why are you my clarity?
(Verse 2) Walk on through a red parade and refuse to make amends It cuts deep through our ground and makes us forget all common sense Don’t speak as I try to leave ‘cause we both know what we’ll choose If you pull then I’ll push too deep and I’ll fall right back to you
